doomcrew Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 just completed the dark knight's hot rod. i didn't do much detailing on this, apart from the lights in the cockpit (fibre optics) and head and tail ights. i did want to build a little bit of gotham that would set the car off. this was done with a chopping board, blocks of chemiwood and pieces from the 1/6 miniature set from "Batman Begins" the snow is scale snow sprinkled over wood glue. thanks for looking steve
Jantrix Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 YES! My favorite batmobile of all time. Well done. Great dio. The way you remembered to leave the asphalt showing as the car went by shows great attention to detail. Great work.
carrucha Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Pretty cool Batmobile. Great work on the lights and diorama.
Adam144 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Definitely my favourite Batmobile. Nice diorama!
davyou5 Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Now that is Cool! You used Fiberoptics you say? Wow!.. Excellent build on both the Diorama and the Car! :P On a side note: Not too long ago I just received the LED Lights I ordered and am going to Put onto the Headlights of my Tamiya Testarossa build, I may have to buy and Extra set just for the Taillights. But seeing as there is a competition between LED and Fiberoptics, I have always been told that LED was better, Still I am looking in amazement at your Fiberoptics lighting, and they look bright enough to me. Hmmm.... makes me reconsider .
moparmagiclives Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 My fav one also, I have two that I have yet to start but my fav non the less. Awesome dio also. Lamps are killer!!!
Krazy Rick Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Slick ! ...I dig the extra attention to detail, in the use of a Dio & the interior lighting is a bonus
