cherokeered Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) Started a new project! I'm building a 69 Camaro Z28 and swapping the engine with an LS2 powerplant from the 05 C6 Corvette. This proved a little difficult at first because the LS2 engine is connected to the transmission located in the rear and they are cast as 1 piece. So I had to cut the transmission off the 69 Camaro engine and attach it to the back of the LS2 engine (which also had to be cut). Edited January 18, 2011 by cherokeered

cherokeered Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 Got the LS2 engine complete and installed in the painted frame. I also added Scale Motorsport carbon fiber decals to the coil covers.
pharr7226 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Nice work on the tranny swap. The carbon fiber looks great. Keep it up.

cherokeered Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 (edited) More progress...Used various items from the Corvette including the radiator fan, the seats, and the drilled rotors and brakes...also added some flocking in the interior. Edited January 31, 2011 by cherokeered
Crazy Ed Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Lookin' Good Jason. Given the detail you applied to the Coils I would have left them exposed. Ed
chris coller Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I like the start and where you are going with this. Are you going to give it a low aggressive stance?
