Being that I'm of the Blue oval persuasion..many might think a T Bolt or big inch mustang would be my choice, BUT that is soooo ordinary.

not sure of this counts, but what about the first generation dusters ?

im actually in the market for one with a 360 and a bench front seat

i would shoot for a 74 RR or GTX but those seem too far out of my price range

My favorite Muscle Car; the one that drilled its way into my memory bank way back then... has to be my bro-in-law's '70 Challenger T/A. He was dating my sister, and they took me, and his little bro (who was my age) in his T/A to the drive-in to see "Vanishing Point". What a kool movie! What a kool ride home after the movie!

I did up this Revell metal body kit of the VP car, using the mill from the '71 Charger.

Probably not exact, but nice enough for my shelf.

Of course, finding some bumper guards and a rear-view would help.

Mopars are favorite, but all of them, (including pony) were the coolest cars from the coolest time, I graduated in '70, none of us had much $$, but our high school parking lot had some really cool rides (including a couple of bikes) that are priceless today.

Dodge Duster Demon 340!!!!!! :):lol::lol:

It's Dodge Demon and Plymouth Duster. The main difference is the Demon used the longer front clip from the Dart.

Although this is not a photo of my actual car, it's pretty close. My favorite was my 1966 Chevelle SS 396 Super Sport that I purchased in 1969 in my senior year of high school. Mine was just like this one, Cameo Beige, except mine had the code 6 Beige vinyl top, which was a little darker than the paint. 4 speed Muncie trans, console, bucket seats, same hubcaps...man I loved that car! I later made many mods to this car including transplanting a 427 bored .030 over into it. The new engine had L-88 heads that were worked on by a local guy, a Crane roller cam setup, an Edelbrock tunnel ram with twin Holley 600 center shooters, Hooker Headers into 2 1/2" straight pipes into Corvair Turbo mufflers. Rear gear was 4.11 posi. I made some homemade ladder bars for the rear. What a great car that was and I kick my self in the butt all the time for ever selling it! As they say, Hindsight is 20-20!

I love them all really, they're my favorite "genre" of cars. However, if I were to pick my fave, it would be the '70 El Camino SS454 LS-6 with the Muncie 4-speed in yellow with black stripes!

Hmmmm....

First and second-generation Dodge Chargers, although I like almost anything Chrysler.

Buick GS

Olds 4-4-2

Pontiac Tempest/Le Mans with the OHC Six Sprint package. Even if it's not a V8, don't try to tell me it's not a muscle car. Even with the 1-bbl., they were plenty quick.

R4 Studebaker Hawks and Avantis.

AMC Javelins and Rebels.

My favorite muscle car lives in my garage....

1968 Barracuda 340 Formula S

CoooDah003-vi.jpg

When all six barrels open up, you better be pointed where you wanna be....

I love the 4 Spd. w/ bench

This might seem cocky, but there's too many check-book muscle car "enthusiasts" here on Long Island.

They buy someone else s work and call it their own.

My favorite is my 69 Camaro. Every nut bolt and screw replaced and built by me from the ground up. It's in the middle of many "enhancements" right now!12860038-vi.jpg
