TheCat Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 One of my favorite Modern Tanks. It looks like the British took a note from the Russian Tanks and added external fuel barrels on the rear. Model Kit: Tamiya Kit # 35154 Scale: 1:35 Model Box
george 53 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I've got this tank in 24th scale and let me tell you, THIS rascal IS BIG!!! It IS a good lookin tank, though! GREAT job on it!!!
Agent G Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 I love it! The Chally is a bad mofo. That loooong barrel is the thing that sets it apart from the M1A's. This sukker can get a hit at over 3000 yards, and has.............. G

Wagoneer81 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Who makes a 1/24 Challenger? Yes, who??? That would make an AWESOME dropdeck load for someone who builds Semi's (someone like me...lol). This is a very nice build, perfect colors, well executed assembly, what more can I say?
george 53 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Guys, a jap company called Toy Star makes the Chieftain, (TS 148-3000), and Both a Russian T-100 (TS 13-2000) and the T 34/85(12-2000). Model Craft makes a Chieftain (25001) also. Tamiya makes the Jagpanther(1330) and aTiger 1(3311) and a T-34 (89569) They also make a Centurion(30614-5500) All these are in 25th scale. I ended up buying two M1A1 Abrhams from Franklin mint also. All these tanks run in the 70.00 range, EXCEPT the Franklin Mint Tanks. They were 180.00 back when i bought them. They ARE pretty well detailed and come with crewmen. Thay build up REALLY nice, but they ARE BIG, and take up ALOT of room(especially compared to CARS!!!) ;)

Am about to buy this same model and wondered if you could tell me which colours you used here? Are they Tamiya colours?
