Normally I only get to work on anything model related on Saturday and Sunday.

When I get home from work I am usually to tired to do anything at all.

But to-day is a freebie, thanks to Mother nature.2282011002.jpg

Hope you enjoyed the time building Don and you are safe from the rising waters!

It was 82 here in Charlotte yesterday and I was able to get one body repainted- spent the rest of the day doing yard work. We are supposed to be settling into a warmer weather pattern so hopefully I can get a bunch of bodies painted so I have something to do once the heat and humidity hits.

Stay safe!

It's a combination of melting snow and a two inch rain storm overnight.

Yup, that sounds like springtime in Cleveland. What part of town are you in?

West 130th St.

That's actually Big Creek across the street, or at least that's where it usually is.

It looks like REALLY Big Creek now!!:P

On the serious side though, I pray it stays where it is and starts going down soon, and that you and your neighbors don't have any serious damage from it.

This just in from WKYC Channel 3 News....

Big Creek has been renamed "Little River".

Lakewood seals it's borders to prevent in an influx of refugees.

Tune in tonight at 6 for more details.

:D:)

Donald, that's really crazy! You didn't tell us you were vacationing in Venice! I really feel your pain... Here, this is what I woke up to this morning, in the side yard... I think we got hit by the same system... Luckily, our vehicles are on the other side of the house on the high ground.

BTW, there's no creek close to us, this is just pooling, minor compared to what you have, really... I hope you stay safe and that the water doesn't come up any farther.

is that a tire swing in the back ground or a flotation device ?

We made it through unscathed. The water has receded and somewhat dry ground is visible.

That means I have to go to work tomorrow.

This is great news! I've been thinking hard about your situation and sending you and Cleveland 'good vibes' all day! I'm glad to hear everything and everybody are still in one piece!
