Dr. Cranky Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Based on the Revell 55 Chevy kit, built totally box stock except for a couple of decals. Enjoy:
DRG Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 After carefully reviewing this posting I must say that the turntable must be very large. I also congratulate the videographer on a real good job of filming, but you can't fool me. That thing is real.

Dr. Cranky Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks, everyone. The Revell 55 kits is a wonderful kit and it builds without any major problems. I had so much fun with this one that I am building another one, this time convertible.
RickRollerLT1 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) That looks really cool!! I love the paint ans everything about it (being the kits custom wheels look pretty decent over all). Not to hijack this thread here, but I jus wanted to show off mine that I did a while back on here. Built box stock like yours except I used different flame decals and itsa bad ina black! (Sorry for the blurry pics, these were taken a few months ago before I discovered the Marcro setting on mah camera Might not be as good as yours, but it's soemthing. Again, very nice mah man!!! Kanedge Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Absolutely stunning. That is such a beautiful shade of green. You are da man, Dr Cranky!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 Thanks, folks. Kane, this color I mixed fooling around with House of Kolor. It's 50% Planet Green and 50% Lime . . . and then a bit of rainbow mini flakes and then clear. I like it too, and have a bit left over so I might use it again.
