crazyjim Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 (edited) When I was a kid, a neighbor bought a new car -a 1962 Chevy 409. It had the bubble top, SS interior, honduras maroon paint, small hubcaps. The car really impressed me because I still remember it. Here's my rendition. And thank you to Joe Phillips and Peter Lombardo for body, frame, and parts. Edited March 16, 2011 by crazyjim
george 53 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 OK Jim, HOW do ya fit BOTH those Bad boys in that small a$$ gayroge???? THIS one came out real nice too!!!
crazyjim Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks again, George. Would you believe expandable walls?
george 53 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 OH, OK, I spose you just pick 'em up and just MOVE them, Right??? UH HU, sure, ok........
crazyjim Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 I'll level with you George. When the garage is sitting on the floor, I can use a forklift to move the builds around. If that fails, I put the garage on the benchtop and use my hand(s) to move things around.
george 53 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 HEY, I drove a forklift for the last 7 years at work! I was pretty good too, ya need any employees??? I'd work REALLY cheep!
oldscool Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 That is a tough and sinister looking car. I like it grumpy gus
jphillips1970 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Hey Jim - Another great build there - Outstanding work as always - Keep building and posting those models - Joe
crazyjim Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Thank you fellas. I really appreciate it. I usually have 2-4 builds going at any one time and these last 3 just happened to come together at the same time. Sorry George. I have a one person shop. Besides, you'd have to move to FLA.
