There was a good assortment of models for sale at the Cleveland Auto-Rama but the only one that really caught my eye was this 66 Chevelle.

Does anyone know anything about this particular kit, good, bad or otherwise.

Thanks for any information you can offer.

It is one great kit, and you got it for a good price. I don't remember running into any problems while building it, but Bill is right about the fragile chrome, I think Alclad might be a bit more durable. I don't think you will get the gap between the hood and grille if you use the kit grille either.

I built mine as a replica of my Dad's 66 and used the MCG photoetch set. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more kits and another detail set for myself. Have a nice build:)

Seriously, I think the Lindberg '66 Chevelle SS is widely regarded as their best kit of the modern Lindberg era, so don't hesitate to buy and/or build one.

I guess the only thing I don't like about this kit is the molded in bumper guards.....every 1:1 '66 Chevelle I've ever been associated with didn't have those. Other than that, it's one of my 10 favorite kits.
