mhadman Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 For anyone who hadn't caught it yet,I posted this elsewhere and tried to pawn it off as a real truck for April 1st.This truck is based on one I used to own back in the early 90's and worked like crazy..Great old chevy..It squats for a reason..It wouldn't normally squat so much, even i with this load of wood, but for the broken leaf springs..
BIGTRUCK Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Nice weathering on that old work horse Mark...picture setting really sets it off
Steve H. Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 That earlier pic fooled me (some would say thats not too hard...)! As I said elsewhere, great build and great pics!
Modellpularn Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 The truck looks great, especially outdoors! Those shots would definately fool an untrained person.
mhadman Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 i caught a few napping today..lol..I was hoping people would just glance at it and not study the pic i posted too hard.Of the pics,I thought #3 down was most convincing.. The mirrors, rear window, tires and wing windows were the parts that I thought might get me busted...Not to mention the setting.. My plan is to park this in a fish tank(without water)in a forest with a junked out car rotting into the dirt. Thanks for all the responses...Makes the work that went into it worthwhile.
Smart-Resins Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I think 2nd and 4th aremost convincing photos.Nice weathering!!
ramonesblues Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I must be getting old, but that looks like someone left a joint on the seat.Great job!!
