Back in the mid 60's I was lucky enough to see Scuderia Veloce's 250LM (chassis #6321) race at Longford, Tasmania. This is the 250LM now owned by Ralph Lauren (http://www.ralphlaurencarcollection.com/). When I was given an old Academy kit, in need of restoration, there was only one I wanted to build.

Great work on this pretty basic "Korean" Academy kit....(got one a few years back..tought was too "toy" looking!)

Wire wheels are really sharp.

Very, very nice work.

That looks brilliant. I didn't really care much for the 250LM until last week, when we found a Corgi Die-cast in the local charity shop for £2.99. Now I _really_ need one of those kits! Especially if it can be made to look like that! The wheels, particularly, look WAAAAY better than I expected...

bestest,

M.

Love that...I was late in loosening up my American muscle car chauvinism, but now any 50's-60's Ferrari really gets me going. Sure wish there were more affordable subjects in this vein.

Very nice! This is my favorite era of Ferrari sports racers. I wish I could be Ralph Lauren just for a week to play with the cars.

...Not to mention the models...

Tks guys, like others I opted not to buy one when they were released/re-released. Given the opportunity I will next time as a 'new one' would give me the chance to improve a few things (i.e. It wouldn't have broken rims on the wheels for starters!!)

Tks again
