Stingray69 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Well here she is my latest project. It started out as Revell's 65 Corvette. I scratchbuilt the frame out of styrene stock. The wheel tubs are scratchbuilt from brass sheeting. The engine is Ross Gibson's 737 Thumper motor. The roll cage is scratchbuilt from 1/16 styrene rod. The struts were scratchbuilt from copper tubing (3/32" and 3/64") and styrene. The front crossmember is kit bashed from Revell's 41 Willys. The bottom hood scoop was cut from a 67 Vette Big Block hood and the top scoop is from Competition Resins. Here are a lot pics!

Stingray69 Posted May 17, 2006 Author Posted May 17, 2006 Thanks for the comments everyone 8) The tubs will be covered in carbon fiber decals. The color will be a dark emerald green with a touch of metal flake. Interior will be black with a steel colored cage along with a steel colored frame. Those colors should go good together....I hope!
