Howard Cohen Posted June 25, 2011 Author Posted June 25, 2011 Looking for something to do after the contest? There is a great cruise about 15 minutes from the contest venue and a great restaurant right beside it. The cruise is at the Canadian Tire store at Queensway at Highway 427 and the restaurant is called 'The Grille'. I'll be going there after the contest to complete a full car day. I'll have maps available at the contest.
Howard Cohen Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 Due to extenuating circumstances, I will no longer be associated with this event. If you have any questions, please contact the president or the secretary.
hct728(Bob) Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I checked, the 66 awards are in production at the trophy shop, so finish those projects and bring 'em on down to the Toronto show. There just might be one with your name on it, LOL!
John Pol Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Still trying to get a ride to the show hoping to get to it. John Pol
Danger Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I will be going again this year. Save one of those thophies for me. I wish someone official would take pics and send them to the mags. I've never seen coverage of this show in the mags. I offered a few years ago to bring my portable photo studio but was told someone already does this. Danger

Group 25 will be meeting tomorrow and I'll see what plans (if any) there are for photography. Look forward to seeing you at the show...and what genre do you build in?

Howard Cohen Posted September 12, 2011 Author Posted September 12, 2011 FYI...I have taken photos in the past and last year wrote an article about the contest, added in many photos, and sent it to a magazine, all according to the magazine's guidelines. To this day, I do not know what happened to the article as I never received any reply from the magazine nor have I seen the article in print
Danger Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Bob, My genre is American muscle, exotics and bikes. Danger
hct728(Bob) Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Congratulations to Adam Grainger who took home an award or two! I hope to have the results posted on the club website, perhaps in a week or two. My pics from the show can be seen at: http://public.fotki.com/Group25/2011-toronto-model-/
