I managed to get this one done a few weeks ago, but Ive been sick so havent been able to post or do much of anything lately....

This is from a parts box 50 Chevy street machine, but I had the stock parts as well.... I started off using Rustoleum rusty primer.... Then using several different acrylic paints and a sponge with rubbing alcohol... This is the result... Transmission is from the parts box and the door is from a 32 Ford

looks like a beater. i love it.

ive never done the weathering technique youve done but i might have to try it now.

it came out awesome. it almost looks real

Thanks fellas... I appreciate the kind words... This one only took me a week to build.... I was tryin to get it done for the IPMS show in SD back at the beginning of June, but I couldnt make it out....

Truck came out looking rusted and busted GREAT JOB ! Glad your feeling better brother i was going to call but i didn't care too any more LOL :) !

Wow! Excellent job! Straight from the Barn :lol: ! Love it! :):P:lol: .

This build also reminds me of the Star Trek Voyager Episode, where as the Voyager encounters this very same Truck in space.. Your model almost looks the same...
