cherokeered Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 Wow!!! Any other place to pick up off road style tires for a pre-runner project and a 4x4 project I'm working on? Having a hard time finding anything for off-road vehicles!!!
Monte's Motors Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Wow!!! Any other place to pick up off road style tires for a pre-runner project and a 4x4 project I'm working on? Having a hard time finding anything for off-road vehicles!!! Modelhaus I believe has them too. Every order I've had from Don has arrived in 6 weeks.
mikemodeler Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Not sure what size tire you are looking for but Ma's Resin and The Modelhaus are the two best sources I know of and have ordered from. Alan at Ma's does excellent work but it is a side job and sometimes demand is great for his product and he can get behind. The product is great stuff and worth the wait and you won't be disappointed. The Modelhaus has a great reputation and the longest I have ever waited was 4 weeks, which they typically tell you up front to expect 4-6 weeks before your order ships. If you are looking for some large tire and wheel combos (think 44 or 49 inchers) try RPP Hobby as they have some nice stuff too.

Are you sure, I know Al quite well and couldn't imagine that being the case. Did you contact him again to discuss?
Brutalform Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 My order I had with Al, was like almost two months...IIRC. But, IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT.
LAone Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 i have an order with al. he making me some stuff and was told that it would be 2 months before he gets to mine cause he had a lot of orders on his table already. so, you should email him first and ask him yourself.
diymirage Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Eight months? Are you sure, I know Al quite well and couldn't imagine that being the case.
