Whoa!! I see a 1940's Mercedes front end, A 1972 beetle rear end mated to a 56 Buick 225, my grandmothers old sewing room drapes on the interior, and I cant tell you what the drivers compartment is. I wonder which end the motor is in ? man I'm all confused

Where's the Buick 225 in this, Romell? I see Chrysler 300 Letter car flanks and tail-lights, but no 225 stuff. Maybe the front fenders?

(Nope, front is a Mercedes, and the sides between front fenders and rear quarters look to be either Comet or Falcon goods)

The third picture shows the car in its South African colour scheme (Wesbank is a local vehicle finance bank). I can remember seeing in real life many years ago. Wonder what happened to it?

The Anycar was built by none other than Gene Winfield and parts of 22 cars were used. It starred in commercials for the Hanover Bank promoting auto loans for 'any car'. The ads should be on youtube.

To my knowledge, the car is alive and well and resides in a private collection of TV/Movie cars in England.

VW body, '57 Chrysler rear quarters, '64- '65 Falcon doors, Mark IV grille. It looks like it was built around a Falcon, because in the link photo you can see a Falcon dashboard. That body type, with an open driver's compartment and the closed passenger area is the actual true definition of a town car. Also, Buick didn't use the 225 suffix 'til 59.
