jeffs396 Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Ever since I posted the 12 original mile Pacer, I just had to start on this: Couldn't even find a good pic of one on the interweb...I guess no one builds them in 1:1 either!

Guest Markus355 Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 it NEEDS to be painted like the one fr waynes world party time, excellent.
Reeves Racing Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 I'm lovin' this... I've always thought if you chopped the top on a Pacer it would look just like a Porsche 928...
Chuck Most Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 I'm lovin' this... I've always thought if you chopped the top on a Pacer it would look just like a Porsche 928... Now that you mention it... yeah, it would!
Romell R Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Sweet I'll be watching this one. But change the stance so its lower those big wheels should have a nice tub in the back of that hatch
Skydime Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) The "pregnant rollerskate" in a pro street. Man, this is so wrong that it is right! Keep the ball rolling on this one. It's going to be a fun ride. I am curious though, as I am just 35. I always heard that one door is longer than the other. Is this represented in the kit? Edited July 28, 2011 by Skydime
torinobradley Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 That looks like it will be one fast aquarium/terrarium... Check out the HotWheels Packing Pacer...
Dragracer Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Looks to me like there's plenty of room out back for some huge tubs!
Sully Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 I like the way you think........... Gonna be sweet! Sully

Ya learn something new everyday! I never knew the doors were different, and yes, the MPC kit has the 4" longer door on the passenger side, I was wondering why something looked funky while enlarging the rear wheel openings Thanks everyone for the encouragement, this was kinda started as a joke to the "12 mile Pacer" thread, but I kinda like the look of it, so I'll keep it going
W-409 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Great project you got going! Great to see one AMC Pacer on the bench, and the style that you are building it is great. And yes, bit lower stance would look good on this. I'm watching this project very surely, it's just great subject. Keep going.
MikeMc Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 This is one of our local "Cool Cruisers".......I still like the idea of a injected 572.....
Reeves Racing Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 This is one of our local "Cool Cruisers".......I still like the idea of a injected 572..... Its funny how just few subtle changes completely changes the looks of one of these cars
Casey Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I'm lovin' this... I've always thought if you chopped the top on a Pacer it would look just like a Porsche 928... Another Pacer, this time with woodgrain and '03-'04 Mustang Mach1 wheels?: Is your Pacer officially in the AMC community build, Jeff?
Dr. Cranky Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Very cool, and I can't wait for the kit to get released.
