where do you buy paints in quantity?

Hello, looking to buy some paints online. Cant seem to find locally a decent prices. Thinking online might be a good place to try other than ebay? Im looking at bottles, spray cans, airbrush. Thanks for your input.

You do not mention any specific colors, brands, or sizes but assuming you are talking about the typical hobby sprays, check with a LHS and see if he would cut you a break if you ordered in quantity. He might be able to get a break from his supplier if he places a large order.

You might also check with Tower Hobbies as they will offer discounts on some products if you order them in quantity. I would also check with Modelroundup as they have started carrying paint as of late.

i love ebay ..1/2 price.. they may be old but just use a paint shaker and fillter with pantie hose they work great

I've been getting HOK paints from TCP Global but it appears Coast Airbrush has significantly lower prices. If I can't find Testor's at the LHS, I usually order from Hobbylinc.

Coast Airbrush is a great supplier for HOK....prices and shipping are the best

I get most of my paints from COASTAIRBRUSH in California. Great service and great products all over the place, including great deals on airbrushes.

For acrylics, I go to Vallejo Model Air Colors.

The dummy here has been spending good money at TCPGlobal and they're $2.00 more expensive for the pre-mixed 2oz bottles of HOK than Coast. A few months I found out about Coast through Dr. Cranky post. Wanna guess where my next order is going?

I have a decent supply of HOK candies, so I was going to try and concentrate on getting some different color basecoats. And some SG100 clear.

Thank you all for your replies. Seems like shipping costs from some sellers on ebay are through the roof! I have ordered from TCp global as well as some other model shops. Locally finding a few here and there. Thanks again! Contacted Krylon as well sell it at work and mighthave a sample box coming of the flip flop style paints!
