gtx6970 Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 A few of mine, sorry for the crappy pictures Lindberg 1964 Dodge built box stock but Cady decals
baddgass Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 here's my outlaw 10.5 camaro. in 1/8 scale. The Best is the Best!!!!!!
W-409 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I built this What If Style Dragster from Bugatti Glue Bomb, fitted Chevy Small Block with Hillborn Fuel Injection in it. Front axle is stolen from Revell '29 Ford Pickup, but it's bit narrowed. Wheels and tires are from my parts box and there are many, many scratchbuilt parts. This took only few days to build, it was just a little & fast project between more serious builds. But the most important thing was, it was very fun to build.
gtx6970 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 A couple from the built many years ago files. I built them at least 15, probably closer to 20 years ago Johan 1969 Road Runner kit Along with an old MPC original 1967 Color Me Gone Charger funny car. The Charger has mix of Fred Cady and homemade decals .
gtx6970 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 A couple I bought several years ago as already done off Ebay and no idea who built them - Both resin body kits. I think the Landy 1965 AFX is a Good Stuff kit . Dutchman Dart is resin body on a Polar lights chassis
gtx6970 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 More of my own builds The Gas Ronda and Hubert Platt's Thunderbolts - both built box stock
gtx6970 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Can you tell I like old drag cars AMT Rat Packer Nova Old Resin bodied Johan 1964 Dodge , I built this A LOONG time before the Lindberg kit came out , this car the cleared white is yellowing pretty bad so it's showing it's age And The Revell 1967 Coronet done as the Shirley Shahan superstocker. I had the chance meeting to talk to Shirley about the same time this kit came out and asked about the color and she told me it was a pearl white
Burnout Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 (edited) Revell '62 Impala. Apologies for the gratuitous X-post previously seen in Under Glass. (I love seeing this thread come back to life.) Edited June 27, 2012 by Burnout
ybsluos Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Awesome Derrick! Saw it in Sylvania. Great scratchbuilding Brother!-Mark
W-409 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Now I can add The '68 Hemi Dart here too: And the Slingshot Dragster from AMT Double Kit.
W-409 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Here are two that I'm currently working. '59 Simca Vedette Gasser: And '62 Catalina Super Stocker. Both of them should be finished soon.

Green Duster Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I guess I can play along. Here's some. The green one on the lift is of my car. Part time racer.
Bernard Kron Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 It's been a long time since I checked this thread out. My last post was September 9th of last year (pg. 17) -- a year has gone by. Good grief! An awful lot of fine, fine quarter milers have passed through these pages since then. What a treat I've missed! Since then I've built mainly hot rods but I did get two rail jobs off, both FED's: The first is a Dragmaster Mk. IV chassis with a blown Pontiac, 1962 style. The second is from two years later, a 160 in. wheelbase AA/FD with a Don Long style chassis. Things were changing mighty quickly back then! Thanx for lookin', B. Dragmaster IV Mr. Eliminator - 160 In. Wheelbase AA/FD
