bsoder Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Man I don't get over here enough, been missing some great builds!! I've only built a coupla trucks since their a bit pricey$ but I've really enjoyed the ones I've done. I'd had this kit for awhile and finally decided to build it, it's mainly B. stock with a few things added & modified...I deviated from the white paint scheme the 1:1 had just to make it look a little diff.
BigBad Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Wow, this is the right color for this wrecker, good choice! Comes out great! I like the aluminum finish on the wheels, they do look better this way. Now I really got to find me the tractor version of this... Definitely.
Jim B Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 That's a mighty fine wrecker. Sort of inspires me to finish my W900 tractor. Maybe I should think about picking up this kit.
Guest Markus355 Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 this clinches it, this kit will be my next major model purchase
bsoder Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 Thanks guys.. yea Bob I agree, don't really see chrome wheels on real working trucks. as far as this kit goes I recall it being problem free and a fun project I would recommend it
Old Albion Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Brian, An excellent looking truck. The long hood and the big engine is certaily one of the big attractions of this kit. I like it! Dave
69A-CAR Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Very nice build! I like the color choice as well. Mark
