Monty Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Here's my toy. I've loved C3s since I was a kid, and the 1980 was my absolute favorite for styling. http://www.sarkiscollisioncenter.com/sitebuildercontent/sbsimages/misc/show_image.html?linkedwidth=actual&linkpath=http://www.inmgroup.net/sarkis/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/corvetmvc-007s.jpg&target=tlx_new Unfortunately, my current lack of employment means I'll probably have to sell it. Here's the daily driver, a 2002 Le Sabre called BOB (Big ol' Buick) http://mankatofreepress.autoconx.com/photos/024/500962024_1_B.jpg

Kevin- Nice Monte she has plenty of potential my mom had an 83 just like yours except it was Champange Tan with a brown vinyl top and a 305 ci engine under ther hood and boy she was a screamer with that 305 ci and a TH-350 tranny out of a 69 Chevelle but she got totaled but used the engine in a 85 S-10 Blazer. Ryan Quantz Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) My former daily drive for almost 6 years, 1968 Mustang. A freshly rebuilt J-Code 302 awaits it's rebirth after a transmission overhaul and some TLC to the brakes and steering. Then she's back on the road and will be "in-progress". I've re-done almost everything electrical and mechanical. And... My current daily drive, 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. I must've gotten a good one because she's been almost 100% solid since day 1. I'm still running the original clutch and brake pads at 125,000 miles! I just replaced the original battery last week. She still looks brand new, save for a few scratches and some driver's seat damage. Edited January 19, 2010 by Ryan Quantz
Agent G Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 One of the best trucks I ever owned was an '03 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. Ex #2 took it in the divorce and then wrecked it. Man I loved that truck. G

B_rad88 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 here be your pictures Kevin. wow, kevin that looks nice! cool car! and oh, they make fake wire hub caps, you might find a set, to give it that look, you know what i am talking about, lol.
B_rad88 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) This is my daily driver I have been looking for one of these though It's been two years and no luck. I thought I found one once but it was a fake and have found 5 other fakes or people with no clue like a SC being sold as a Wide Body, no real ones, and would rather not get a Turbo, not withstanding the are still about 10K more than a non turbo car $30-40K What is so special about this one you might ask. It is a 84-88 Carrera SC with a 491 option, which is the "Turbo Look" wide body, turbo suspension, turbo brakes and wheels without the turbo. Only 1184 were made. I guess my next best option is just to get a SC coupe, but even those are hard to find. I find lots of Targas but coupes perferably without a sunroof . Someday I will find it, and build a moderenized 934 like car. nice, if i had the money to afford the porsche, i would buy a 964, and convert it to a retro look, lol, like this: http://www.psautoart.com/ or i would get a 944 turbo, or a 968! Chuck Most Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) My drivers... '94 Ford F-250 (More of a backup and 'heavy lifter' than a daily driver nowadays, what with gas being $2.60 where I live currently.)You can also sort of see my brother's '78 Cutlass and '80 Delta 88 to the right of it. The T-Racer, my '98 Mercury Tracer LS (twin to the Ford Escort), which is my primary warhorse with 296,000 miles on the clock to date. I've also got a few projects in various states of disrepair... My '67 Plymouth Fury 4-door, complete with blown-out windsheild, which hasn't seen the road since 2003. My '81 Ford F-250 4x4... I just might end up dropping the body from my 2WD '94 onto this chassis. Just a thought. '46 Chevy 2 1/2 ton dump- this one will donate it's cab (and a few other parts) to a truckster rod, still a way off in the future. I've also got a '78 International Scout II Diesel 4x4 that is in very sad shape, but no pictures of it. Edited January 19, 2010 by Chuck Most

It would be easier, and probably cheaper to modernize an old one. the 968 they pretty much figured the 944 all out and then stopped making it.

beefheart22 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 2009 Ranger Sport 4.0 SOHC 5-speed auto, RWD. My first *new* vehicle.
