Here's my toy. I've loved C3s since I was a kid, and the 1980 was my absolute favorite for styling. http://www.sarkiscollisioncenter.com/sitebuildercontent/sbsimages/misc/show_image.html?linkedwidth=actual&linkpath=http://www.inmgroup.net/sarkis/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/corvetmvc-007s.jpg&target=tlx_new Unfortunately, my current lack of employment means I'll probably have to sell it.

Here's the daily driver, a 2002 Le Sabre called BOB (Big ol' Buick) http://mankatofreepress.autoconx.com/photos/024/500962024_1_B.jpg

Daily is a boring Ford Focus 4 door with a 5 speed.

The other is a long time project that has had a majority of the sheetmetal replaced a mild built 350 and 4speed. 3:08 gears out back!

Kevin- Nice Monte she has plenty of potential my mom had an 83 just like yours except it was Champange Tan with a brown vinyl top and a 305 ci engine under ther hood and boy she was a screamer with that 305 ci and a TH-350 tranny out of a 69 Chevelle but she got totaled but used the engine in a 85 S-10 Blazer.

My former daily drive for almost 6 years, 1968 Mustang. A freshly rebuilt J-Code 302 awaits it's rebirth after a transmission overhaul and some TLC to the brakes and steering. Then she's back on the road and will be "in-progress". I've re-done almost everything electrical and mechanical.

33ctawm.jpg

And... My current daily drive, 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. I must've gotten a good one because she's been almost 100% solid since day 1. I'm still running the original clutch and brake pads at 125,000 miles! I just replaced the original battery last week. She still looks brand new, save for a few scratches and some driver's seat damage.

One of the best trucks I ever owned was an '03 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. Ex #2 took it in the divorce and then wrecked it.

Man I loved that truck.

This is my daily driver

4SA.jpg

I have been looking for one of these though

84wbmain1.jpg

It's been two years and no luck. I thought I found one once but it was a fake and have found 5 other fakes or people with no clue like a SC being sold as a Wide Body, no real ones, and would rather not get a Turbo, not withstanding the are still about 10K more than a non turbo car $30-40K

What is so special about this one you might ask. It is a 84-88 Carrera SC with a 491 option, which is the "Turbo Look" wide body, turbo suspension, turbo brakes and wheels without the turbo. Only 1184 were made.

I guess my next best option is just to get a SC coupe, but even those are hard to find. I find lots of Targas but coupes perferably without a sunroof sad.gif .

Someday I will find it, and build a moderenized 934 like car.

nice, if i had the money to afford the porsche, i would buy a 964, and convert it to a retro look, lol, like this:

http://www.psautoart.com/

or i would get a 944 turbo, or a 968!

My drivers...

071_71-vi.jpg

'94 Ford F-250 (More of a backup and 'heavy lifter' than a daily driver nowadays, what with gas being $2.60 where I live currently.)You can also sort of see my brother's '78 Cutlass and '80 Delta 88 to the right of it.

073_73-vi.jpg

The T-Racer, my '98 Mercury Tracer LS (twin to the Ford Escort), which is my primary warhorse with 296,000 miles on the clock to date.

I've also got a few projects in various states of disrepair...

077_77-vi.jpg

My '67 Plymouth Fury 4-door, complete with blown-out windsheild, which hasn't seen the road since 2003.

081_81-vi.jpg

My '81 Ford F-250 4x4... I just might end up dropping the body from my 2WD '94 onto this chassis. Just a thought.

082_82-vi.jpg

'46 Chevy 2 1/2 ton dump- this one will donate it's cab (and a few other parts) to a truckster rod, still a way off in the future.

I've also got a '78 International Scout II Diesel 4x4 that is in very sad shape, but no pictures of it.

It would be easier, and probably cheaper to modernize an old one.

the 968 they pretty much figured the 944 all out and then stopped making it.

Perfecting a model... then canceling it? Sounds more like GM than Porsche! ;)

I know didn't make sense back then, still doesn't.

2009 Ranger Sport 4.0 SOHC 5-speed auto, RWD. Wanted 4WD, but I was made an offer I couldn't refuse for buying this one off the lot last summer. Only 2800 miles so far, just had her first oil change two weeks ago. Precious moments. My first *new* vehicle.
