Chuck Most Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Just got this as part of a trade- looks to be based off a promo body and chassis, with a scratchbuilt-master interior and vacuum-formed glass. I know Modelhaus makes one, but I've never seen one. It is cast in a very light tan resin, and has thick, promo-style metal axles at both ends, and the chrome parts are all plated. I'd appreciate any help!
Mark Crowel Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Oh,noooooooo, man! Leave it stock! It's a NASH. Or, would you sell it?
Mark Crowel Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Here is my scratchbuilt '50 Nash. I definitely like Nashes. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=12063
Chuck Most Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 Cool! And sorry- the transformation on this one has already begun!
george 53 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 And it'll be one of the VERY FEW Pro stock 50 Nash's you'll EVER see!!!!!! It's lookin GOOD Chuck!
Mark Crowel Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Okay, Chuck, looking forward to the pics on this one.
Mark Crowel Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 And hello to you fellow Michiganders.
Chuck Most Posted September 29, 2011 Author Posted September 29, 2011 And it'll be one of the VERY FEW Pro stock 50 Nash's you'll EVER see!!!!!! It's lookin GOOD Chuck! I don't know what planet everybody else is on, but ALL the Nashes I've ever seen up close and in person are Pro Street! Yeah, mostly Ramblers, but still.
dimaxion Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Gee , all the Nashes I've ever seen were Factory Stock . I was there when they were new . So ..what are your plans for the unused stock parts ??
Chuck Most Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Just saw what Juha Airio did with his. Wow. Remember- this is a CURBSIDE KIT WITH A SEALED HOOD AND A 'COASTER' CHASSIS. Again, all I can say is, wow...
george 53 Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Chuck, Juha Ario is a wizard, or a magician, or a wizgician! He's not really a human. I THINK he's an alien with the ability to SHRINK cars that likes to teleport them back to his planet so THEY can be cool too! But don't quote me on that!
Casey Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 This bodystyle nash is my favorite. Mine, too, and probably why I am a huge fan of Commer vans:
Guest Johnny Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Juha does such fantastic work on some of the most unlikely subjects too!
