bsoder Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I built this from the AMT kit..to quote Forrest Gump "AMT kits are like a box of chocolate's ....you never know what your gonna get" however this was a good little kit, had fun building it. engine plumbed, wired the wheels are from an AMT cougar . here's the car I based it on
charlie8575 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Very nice job with that, Brian. Charlie Larkin
oldscool Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 That looks spot on. Those front and rear body pieces are tough to get fitted properly on that kit and you did a great job of fitting them. gus
Dr. Cranky Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Clean, smooth, classy . . . beautiful. Congrats, great job on the color.

Guest Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Really like the color on your '67 Brian! What did you use? Nice work!
bsoder Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 ...and the wheels are from a '68 Man...tough crowd
bsoder Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 Kidding, hope it came off that way. Great build! (and you know, if you were going to make it "accurate" you should have the "GT" caps from the MPC '69 kit...totally kidding) That's why I was laffin Mark!.. actually I was just going to use the kit wheels...but believe me these were closer than those!
Skydime Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I built this from the AMT kit..to quote Forrest Gump "AMT kits are like a box of chocolate's ....you never know what your gonna get" From the results, looks like you ended up with the pecan cluster or the occassional one that tastes like a Snickers bar. Excellent work.
bsoder Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 From the results, looks like you ended up with the pecan cluster or the occassional one that tastes like a Snickers bar. Excellent work. Thanks Ken...I think!...
Aaronw Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Nice job, the fastback Mustangs are my favorites.
Skydime Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 (edited) From the results, looks like you ended up with the pecan cluster or the occassional one that tastes like a Snickers bar. Excellent work. Yeah, it's definitely a good thing. I hate those goofy chocolates that are orange and green and who knows whatever else inside. Edited September 4, 2011 by Skydime
