Foxer Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 There was an old thread where people posted photos of old and unusual vehicles they passed while rolling along in their everyday duties. I tried to find it again with no success, so here's a new start. I had a trip today and I always have the camera ready to snap as I go. The photos may not be studio quality, but the cars are!
Foxer Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) And these two are dedicated to Cranky ... So, everyone please post your random road eye candy Edited September 11, 2011 by Foxer
Dr. Cranky Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Oh, it's pure eye candy. I am delighted with the last picture. EYEGORE is running around looking for his hydrant, he is so happy! Thanks for sharing.
Chuck Most Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Saw this a year or two ago headed out to Midland, MI. It's a '45 Federal truck. Looked to have some newer chassis parts, but no engine in it at all.
my name is nobody Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Went to a small car show today in Miles City, Montana.
Rob Z Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Took these a couple of weeks ago... Sorry for the not so good pics they are off my phone... 1941 Chevy Pumper truck... Love the scroll work that shows through...
Jeff Johnston Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 this isn't a new pic but still probably the most interesting find I'll ever have. This one I fooled with to make look like an old photo.
Guest Johnny Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Never saw so many Edsels in one place before!
Foxer Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 Never saw so many Edsels in one place before! I wonder if that's the end of the assembly line with the ones nobody wanted STILL sitting there.
Hoosierfarmboy Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) I like those Edsel "Rancheros? " a lot. That old Federal looks super. Would love to restore it. Good shots. Edited September 12, 2011 by Hoosierfarmboy
RancheroSteve Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 I saw this one a few weeks back. Unfortunately, I mis-timed my shot and only got the front end of a Shelby Series 1 coming the other way on PCH in Redondo Beach. Kind of a rare sighting since there were only 249 made.
Eshaver Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 I had no idea that there was so much H.A. M. B. friendly stuff out on the road still ! That s good to know ............ Ed Shaver
