Hey everyone - Has anyone ever had any issues with products from Galaxie LTD - I purchased a 48 Chevy panel truck and the body has a slight twist to it - I'm thinking it's not going to fit level and need help with ideas of re-twisting it back to level - Or if anyone has any other ideas that would be great - Thanks - Joe

The panel deliveries I've built had no warp to the body, but the one coupe I had did. It was pretty minor- it went away once the body was attached to the floor board casting. Not sure how severely yours is warped but just that might fix it. If it is too bad, Galaxie has a great return policy and will send you a replacement if you cannot fix the body you have.

You can order them directly from Galaxie Limited. Sorry, no link - I am on my phone.

Kit goes together awesome, and is beautifully detailed. The only thing i remember is be very careful with the fitment of the front clip. If it's angled slightly up or down the hood wont fit. But get it right and the hood fits perfect.

Craig is correct....I got this info from Jairus Watson.....as he did the artwork and build in MCM,

One more thing... better attach the front fenders to the body now so you have one less loose gap to deal with while fitting.

Set the body and the front fenders on a flat surface and use superglue (or whatever glue you want as you put light pressure keeping the two pieces flat on the table top and together tight. If the hood fits with little gap at the back you did it right.

This way it will be easier to channel and see where more adjustment needs to be made.
