Sixx Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Heres something on this thread...what time of the day/night do you feel most productive?????? Myself while recovering from my spinal fusion this year , I've found that mornings are best for me
SuperStockAndy Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I'd say I'm better at night after a nice hot shower. I'm just in the mood then, ya know?

Mooneyzs Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 For me it all depends on the type of build that I am doing. I have some kits that are of a high detail level, to others that may be just a curbside or something in between. It also depends on how much time I am able to put into it. Some of my builds I don't want to rush it. I have had a couple builds that have been on the shelf for 14 years which got started and set aside. My current detailed project that I am working on which is my 1/16 Army Vega Funny Car to date has 175 hours in it over a 7 Month period so far and its maybe 1/2 way done since I started in March this year. Hoping to have it done by February 2012 for the NNL West in Santa Clara, California. Lately all I have been focusing on is this project and I am just about to start a curbside build to do something quick and easy with no detail other than body, interior and rims.... just so I can finish something
Chuck Most Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 For me, anywhere from a few days... To a few YEARS... and counting!
Eduardo100 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Far too long..I'm a wretchedly slow worker Ed
Jeff Johnston Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 it depends but my average is 3 months. That's building maybe 2 evenings per week for a few hours a sitting.
trogdor Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Lets see hands that aren't as nimble as they once were, eye sight that is not so good, family, work, life in general. I'm lucky to finish at all these days. Somehow as a kid I managed to crank one out in a week or less, Luckily none of those fine examples of workmanship have survived
