S. Svendsen Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Just finished this pro-touring '77 Volare as my idea for a perfect track day car and built the Ram pickup to tow it to the track. All the build details and more pics are at the links. Gray Smith Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) wow..I love that Volare!!! great job on both Gray edit: let me also say that it's good to see a proper pro-touring build again, not many do them anymore. This one has streetfighter written all over it...my favorite style too! Edited October 5, 2011 by Gray Smith

Sixx Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Wow, fantastic photos too. The color makes both models POP. Great combo indeed! Congrats. I agree with Doc, photos are awesome too!!! Heck, so is the trailer!!
krazyglu Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 OK so looks like i'm going to 'fess up....I had no clue what a Volare was until this post. You did a awesome job on both and this is my favorite pro touring car to date. The gloss black base everything is sitting on is what really works so well with that green in your pictures. Much better than a white photo booth shot. This really is a work of art....thank you for sharing.
crazyjim Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Excellent combo. I love the color and love the SHINY :)
fastram Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Wonderful to see a Volare done up like that and the truck looks great, too!
hd2500gmc Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Love it great colors!!! Where did you find those wheels on the Volare???
1320wayne Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Superb job on both. The finish is awesome and the stance for both really is great.

S. Svendsen Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 The wheels are from a tamiya porsche 911 gt2
n8dogginz Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 <---Owner. <---Kid at the gas station catchin a glimpse of that combo on the way to the track.
W-409 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 WOW, this is very nice build combo!!! Personally I don't like pro Touring cars at all, but this one is so nicely done, that it looks good. Color fits nicely and it's very clean build overall. Great to see Plymuoth Volare, that is something, I'd like to build also. Dodge Ram looks very good too.
