Airfix also made two Astons in 1:24. The JB007 DB5 and a DB6. I think both were produced by MPC in America at some stage and that's the last we ever saw of them. Chances are good that the moulds are with round2, if they still exist.

And you could ask the same question about other British subjects (pun intended). No newer Jaguar was released after the Hasegawa XJ-S. There are hardly any Rolls-Royces, and not a single Rover. What was/is available in regards of Lotus cars is dismal as well, to say the least. And has there ever been a Bentley kit other than the 4 1/2 Litre Blower? MG lovers must make do with only two models, the Monogram TC and the Aoshima B. OK, we do have a Morgan Plus Four, but I bet there is a market for a Three-Wheeler.

For some of that variety, like the vintage Mog 3-wheeler, there are a few pretty good older kits in 1/16 (as I'm sure you know). I'd like to see the new 3-wheeler as a kit. I've noticed that Revell of Germany is getting ready to reissue the original Revell 1/16 Rolls PII Continental; I wonder if it will have any differences from the old kit.

I'd love to see the vintage three wheeler in 1:24. Thanks for jogging my memory on the 1:16 kit, I'd forgotten all about that one.

Hey- speaking of three-wheelers, nobody ever kitted a Reliant Robin, right?

BTW Antonio, is this a model? And if so, is it die-cast, resin, or........???

Looks sharp either which way!

That's a diecast I found on Google. I'd love to find one and rework it to my tastes.

At keast for Lotus the kits we have are pretty decent. The Monogram Esprit is really nice, and the Tamiya Europa and Super 7 are really nice, and Tamiya's 1/12 7 is incredible. But you are right there are very few high quality kits of any British make.

Don't forget the Gunze Sangyo Elan, which, despite being a curbside, is not bad at all.

I'm aware of the Gakken/Entex/Academy/Minicraft/whatever 1:16 Moggy and built a few of them. Unfortunately, in 1:24 there only ever was the prohibitively expensive Wills - now Southeastern - Finecast white metal kit, if you are wealthy and resourceful enough to obtain one. A plastic kit would be oh so nice.

The Revell, nee Renwal, Continental Roller already made it to the shelves and apart from new box art it is the same as it always was, including the well known glitches.

Right. However, there was a roughly 1:24 plastic bank/toy of the Trotter's Independent Regal van from the Only Fools and Horses TV Series. I have seen nice models built from it, but I was never lucky enough to snatch one.

I said decent London taxi kit, people. ;) No, sorry, overscale and under detailed won't cut it this time.

The Welly diecast isn't bad at all, especially considering the price. And it is really 1:24 scale. But I agree, a kit would be nice indeed. It's so hard to chop and drop diecasts.

I did forget that one. That was nice. I would love to build one to set next to my Tamiya Miata seeing how it was inspired by the Elan

I like to see the shelves full of variety! That's my only requirement.

Me too. Can I now get my 1973 Dodge Monaco, please? Junkman said "please"!

Make it a 74 , I say please as well

Let them make both. They could use the baseplate and tyres for either, hows that for getting mileage from a tool?

Just to thow a bit of gas on the early '70's Mopar fire.... '70 300H, anyone? ;)

Junkman says "PLEASE!" And please include two bootlids and bonnets, the H and normal ones.

Harry- we'd probably be the only two, but I'd love an Airflow.

Just not in 1:8 scale, though. :P

Me three! I actually have one, but guess which material it's made of.

So

- a 70 Chrysler 300 H with separate bootlid and bonnet

- a 57-59 De Soto

- a 34-37 Airflow

- a 1973 Dodge Monaco...

Gosh, it's high time those kit makers stop dragging their bottoms!

The Blues Brothers didn't drive a 50's Desoto! LOL But it would be nice to see AMT do more 50's Mopars from the 58 Plymouth and 57 300C.

Heck, I'd take Jo-Han reissues to kitbash with newer kits!

A 1/8 Airflow would be awesome!

Like Christian, I have an Airflow, but it's a 1/18 diecast. Very nice model, but I'd like to be able to build one...

They are PAID for though. So much for there is no money to be made with such stuff.

Here is mine:
