John Teresi Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 (edited) and a few more.......thank`s. Edited October 31, 2011 by John Teresi
Sixx Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Geez John, that's awesome in raw resin !!!!!!!!!!!!! Another killer man!!
Nitrozilla Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Strap in for another wild ride. Mixed emotions about using an award winning build to create another one. True test of intestinal fortitude. I've hacked on a finished area of a build, but never converted a finished one into something else. You keep finding new ways to raise the bar John.
LAone Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 thats pretty cool. sooo what, a week, maybe a week and a half and its done??
Modelmartin Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Looks like a pipe organ model there, John!
Mister Twister Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 This will another great build John. You have an extreme talent for replicating these vintage drag subjects. Always impressed with your builds!

Chuck Most Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Pretty nice build so far, might need to check your spelling of the driver seeing it's provided on the first picture you posted. Fixed YOUR missing apostrophe. You're welcome. Looking pretty cool, John. Didn't you build a drag car similar to this one a while back- Buick body with four engines?
Roadkill2525 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 The apostrophe key is here, doesn't always register.
John Teresi Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Fixed YOUR missing apostrophe. You're welcome. Looking pretty cool, John. Didn't you build a drag car similar to this one a while back- Buick body with four engines? Chuck.......yes I did......I have built 4 of them.......1 for Tommy Ivo a "Wagonmaster" ....... then another one is a Mach 1V Ford Mustang I converted 4 Ivo buick engines into Ford`s.......then I made another "Wagonmaster" and hauler .......then a Ivo "Showboat"........I am using this built up as the donor for this Tom McCourry "Wagonmaster".......actually I am just painting the body and covering the chassis......thank`s
Chuck Most Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Ah, okay. I do remember seeing the Showboat- that's the one I was thinking of. Didn't know you'd built four of them.

Nitrozilla Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I can already see and smell the clouds of smoke fryin' off those big meatys !! Did they ever figure out how to debug the steering on that thing ?? I'll bet a new one from scratch with todays technology would rock the crowds. No need for hi tech graphics though. Let the engines do the talkin'. She's gorgeous John. Think I'll stick around 'til it's done.
Mike Kucaba Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I have that kit in the pile. Good to see how you did the details. And as usual,a flawless execution.
W-409 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Wow, great paint job and decaling. Engines are spectacular, as always. Talking about fast project... Your all builds come together really fast... Same time when John builds superdetailed build with large modifications, I can get one engine finished... And that's not super detailed. So this must be really fast if you're talking about fast project. But it's already painted and that frame combination is already done, must say, that it's fast. Thanks for sharing these WIP projects with us.
Mooneyzs Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 John.... this is a great looking build. you always have me wondering what you are going to build next. Thanks for sharing with us, I always enjoy your builds. You are already hitting this one out of the park.
John Teresi Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Hello......I painted the firewall Alclad.......I airbrushed the taillight`s Tamiya clear red.......I got the glass installed.......parachute is on......I made a rear window glass frame......and airbrushed the front window frame.......this is just about finished......just a few little details and I will post finished photo`s tomorrow......thank`s for looking.
