This has probably been covered, but I couldn't find it, plus I know I'm not the only one who's wondered what everyone's favorite online stores are?

I would have no problem supporting local stores, but I drove 100 miles to find 2 hobby shops, one with horrible selection and the other with an almost acceptable selection; both with very high prices.

If it matters, the main items on my shopping list are: flock (I refuse to pay the $25 hobby lobby wants), some paints both acrylic and enamel, alclad, and iwata angled (steeper angle) siphon feed bottles.

I buy from a variety of different online stores and ebay, it just depends on what I need and who has it for the best price and does not charge an arm and leg for shipping.

By far the best I have dealt with, haven't bought kits yet but have other things, and that would be jiminohio.com (you can send me a kit later for the plug lol jk). Good prices and great shipping cost. I mainly buy on ebay because i can get them pretty cheap if done right. and like mentioned before a variety of stores.

For Kits it is mostly Model Round-up, but I do buy from some others. I have several online Stores that I buy Tools, and supplies from, including Amason.com! For paints I like to use the Maker's site.

CHEERS!

I go for Island Collectibles, Strada Sports,Hiroboy and HobbyLinkJapan. Oh, and of course Ebay. I have also used Slixx. I loved working with Peggy at Model Car Masterpieces but she has retired recently.

Sometimes what you want is only available from one place (like a particular decal sheet, for example), so you can't "shop around." But for any item I buy online that's available from a lot of sources, I do a google price search and buy from whoever has the items I want for the lowest cost (price plus S&H).

Pretty simple... the answer to what my favorite online store is, is the one that will sell me what I want for the lowest price!
