1963 Galaxie Super Stock newbies first finished post, ! be gentle

Ok here goes !

Finished this about this time last year ! (going to build up to more recent couple as a time line learning process thing !)

Its the 1963 super stock galaxie of Dick Brannan, built from an AMT prestige kit, with the rear chassis and axle etc from a Revell 64 thunderbolt (didnt like the one piece lack of detail in the stock kit!) also used the thunderbolt block with amt (Thunderbird valve covers)

This was built before i discovered polishing kits ! and cleaning up to take this pic led to me damaging the 823 decal

Very nice and clean build. That paintjob looks great, and I like that engine detailing too. Great to see older Stockers or Super Stockers being built. They are one of my favorites. But the best was Junior Stock.

Might start an on going thread on the John collins 79 bird funny car that i am working on (was very pleased how the paint etc was going on that, until i wrecked it after having to remove a cracked screen)

Then you are in this point http://images107.fotki.com/v159/photos/4/1674554/8827137/Kittiseuraavana_-vi.jpg. Then you just have to copy the URL and on this forum when you write a post, click "Image" button. It's close of that Link button, that green one. Paste that URL there, and you have a picture. Hope you understood anything of my english...
