Okay my ten year old daughter wanted me to post pics of her first model on here and I told her I would so her goes. This is a revell 69 chevelle snap tite kit that she got for christmas last year. she built this herself and I think she didn't do to bad a job for a first build. So what do you guys think.

I'm not trying to be "one of those guys" here but that's a '70, not a '69. Nice job though. I love that your daughter put it together and that she's proud of it. My kids were working on their models this weekend also.

Cool beans, the more kids that discover model building as a hobby, the better for every body. It's a wonderful thing for developing the imagination!

I hope the Model Bug Takes. It didn't with with my kids after building 20 or so with them as they were growing up. These are different times and now I am working on two grand-kids. I do think they are building some better kits now but, the cost is outrageous. Tell your Daughter she did a wonderful job on her's it looks great from this angle. The time spent with her is priceless.

Keep encouraging her on her builds and help her develop skills so she stays interested in the hobby. There are a few females that post here and they build some nice models! Any kid that wants to build is good news for the model companies and us older modelers that are trying to keep the hobby alive.
