Dr. Cranky Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 John, what a line up and clearly your versatility carries over from subject to the next. Congrats. Can't wait to see what you get started in 2012. Cheers, DC
Sam Cates Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Wait, wait wait...*grabs towel to wipe drool from desk* That is amazing work! Congratulations my friend, mighty fine work!
jjsipes Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I like them all but that Skoal Oldsmobile stands out among them. Is that Terry Labonte's or Rick Mast? I remember them both driving the Skoal Olds in black and white while Harry Gant had the green Skoal cars.
Rob McKee Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Wow, if I finished just one of those cars I would be proud. Nice work John!
Old Coyote Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 I like them all but that Skoal Oldsmobile stands out among them. Is that Terry Labonte's or Rick Mast? I remember them both driving the Skoal Olds in black and white while Harry Gant had the green Skoal cars. That's Terry Labonte's 1990 Richard Jackson ride
bbowser Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Wow! You do know there's somebody out there besides Terry! Love the rails, very nice. You've had an outstanding year sir.
Old Coyote Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Screwed up ......... here's the picture of the completed '64 Impala ........... duh
bbowser Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Forgot to drool over the Chevelle. My favorite of your street cars.
Greg Pugh Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Wow. You were a busy boy this year. Nice work!!
Models by Bear Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 The Chevelle is awesome great job on all of them
caine440 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Love your work! You had a great year at the bench.
Peter Lombardo Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 That is funny....I was looking at the '64 Impala and wondering why it was naked......no BMF, now I see what happened. All very, very nice and clean but the Impala and Chevelle are especially sweet. Great set of work.
Eshaver Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Great looking street stockers John . In fact , they look good nuff to be seen at the next cruise night with ! Ed Shaver
Art Laski Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Nice lineup! That's more models than I've built in my life. I love the uniqueness of some of the obscure Nascar rides.
Kmidd65 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 John, I always enjoy seeing cars that come off your workbench. Wow, what a year! Excellent job on each and every one. I gotta tell you though, that Monza Funny Car is my personal favorite. Thanks for sharing with us!
Darbo Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 It looks like you built one a week!!!!, love them all!
Dave42 Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Holy cow, I'm with everyone else here, sure looks like you stay at it. Every one looks so clean, and the patience you must have for all of that decal work... All of the drag cars along with the Skoal Olds, and Mini-Wheats builds are the ones that strike me the most. Impressive work and collection.
Old Coyote Posted December 16, 2011 Author Posted December 16, 2011 .... add one more to my 2011 list ......... the "iron Man Tribute" 2006 Monte Carlo .............. might get a couple more finished before the end of the year
krazyglu Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 What a awesome collection you have there. Hard to tell my favorite, but I think mine are the Detroit Tiger funny car and the Kelly Chadwick pro stocker. I really like those '80's Nascar's though. My aunt and uncle live in High Point North Carolina. I visited last year....beautiful place. Thanks for sharing and please keep building
maltsr Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Nice work John, I particularly like the drag cars and the '37 Chevy looks great in white.
