groo12
WOW, very nice vintage Bowtie!!! Sorry, what do you mean by vintage bowtie?
Agent G
The Chevrolet emblem resembles a bow tie, so say some, therefore an older Chevy is a "vintage bowtie". G

dimaxion
Considering the Chevrolet Emblem was copied from a restroom wall in Paris , France , a bowtie is a compliment . Welcome and kudos on this build . Factory Stock is my genre . Excellent build . Thanx for sharing .
MrObsessive
Wow! My first build was nowhere near what you turned out! That's nearly 35 years ago, and I didn't start to get reasonably good at it till years later. Congratulations! Very, very clean build! groo12
Thank you. I know where all the mistakes are and there is quite a few things I am unhappy with. But that is part of the learning process and certainly doesn't detract from the enjoyment of building it.

sjordan2
Considering the Chevrolet Emblem was copied from a restroom wall in Paris , France , a bowtie is a compliment . Welcome and kudos on this build . Factory Stock is my genre . Excellent build . Thanx for sharing . Just a digression...Since I'm in advertising and graphic arts, you got me interested in looking into the bowtie design, and while the version you mentioned is most accepted (from hotel wallpaper, not necessarily the bathroom), there are two other versions here plus interesting backgrounds of 4 other car logos. http://designshack.n...mous-car-logos/ Just to get back on track, that's a beautiful truck and quite an achievement for a first build.
