thomas LB808 Labanon Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 Thanks guys. Keep it comming. On another note. Living on this ISLAND. There is NO hobby/model shop here. Clossest shop is on OAHU. So alot of my stuff comes from the internet. We have a Walmart and a Kmart, but they hardly have anything NEW.
SpreadAxle Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 In your situation, I would probably stock up just as much.

Mack_Mechanic Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Here's my space,not many models.I am kinda particular about the kits I buy so I don't have many kits...yet.
mikelo Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 There is a lot of neat and creative ideas. I love the bridge display, and chains! That is what I need to keep the kids away! Here is my space. Before you ask, my wife has bad allergies, so the only way I could bring them in the house was to take them out of the original box (it was amazing how much dust and cat hair had collected in them over 30 years!) and put them into what you see. The new ones go into the closet in thier respective boxes now. I made the showcase out of those finished shelves you get at Lowes or Home Depot. Here is my freshly made paint booth. Seeing as how I work for carbon company, I installed a carbon filter so that it does not need to be vented outside. It works pretty well. It depends on the paint. I am still glad it is the garage.
DarylH Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 My set up- At last count the numbers were 320+ cars, 300+ aircraft, 40+ tanks, 30+ ships Built-ups, mostly cars are over 275. The Hooterville Motors Ops Center Primary assembly Paint rack the booth There are 2 walk-in closets worth of "stash". The den has the car closet the assistant My happy place.........
MikeBoyle Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Here's the $.05 tour of my setup: View from the door way. Paint booth. Storage/Reference material Unbuilts stored in the closet. Finished projects.
bsoder Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Here's part of my corner a my "world" my spray booth is out on an enclosed patio..hey Calif. weather I guess I'm the lightweight here,I only have a paltry 70+ unbuilts!! and of course my technical advisor!!
Mike Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Nice collections and work areas everyone! Here's mine in a rare, clean state LOL My stash that's grown by about 1/2 dozen kits since this was taken so I think I'm up to about 60 or 70 now.
Exotics_Builder Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 But I'll show you the exotics kits I have. I build a lot of different styles, but have a yen for exotics (no pun). I'm running out of room to store the kits and have lost interest in a building several of them, so may likely be "thinning the herd". The Ferraris are pretty much staying although I might let go of a couple of extras. Still making plans. Next time maybe the Chevies or the Street Rods unbuilts. Eventually I'll do the workbench when its a little more organized. Anyway, here's my exotics collection (the unbuilts):
