Brad... that looks great! I love the color of choice. I can't wait to see a little bit of weathering to it. It's going to look great.  Glad to see you getting some bench time.

That interior tub is KILLER man!!!! NICE "rivet" work! And then the ole 392 Hemi looks right at home between those frame rails! GREAT job so far!

Uh oh...I moved some PhotoBucket folders around and this si what I get. I'll post a few pictures of where I'm at now.

Thanks for the comments and following along. I'm hoping to get this done for a contest this weekend.

Thanks so much Dave. I started sanding one of the front fenders last night and I'm not liking it one bit. Will have to go a different direction.

Yeah, I know Dave, I just don't like it so it got reshot with the flat red again.

Yeah I know the feeling...usually my fixes only make mine worse!   But hey gotta try to make it better if you dont like something.

About time I got back to work on this one. Got some weathering done to the body using a mixture of watercolors and gouache paints.

A bit more weathering to do then I need to make a tonneau cover, make windows, head and taillights, parachute and grill. Probably a few other small items.

Man are you getting good at that Brad.  All the work on your shop diorama (and experience gained) really paid off on the Willy's.   Nice job.  cheers, tim

Have you tried the dr cranky salt method of weathering, thinking trying it myself

No I haven't. don't know enough about it. Guess I need to study up.

Way cool Brad. That's going to look great with the weathering in contrast to the shiny interior.

BTW, I got an order from the fastener place I linked to you. 0-80 & 00-90 nuts, bolts & washers: 350 pieces for $60.00.

It's back to the bench for me.
