krazyglu Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Wow Charlie I am just blown away with how clean your work is. I know that's all we ever say, but what else is there to say? I can't wait to work with your parts. I am curious as to where I can get a 1/16 engine besides the pricey hard to find Revell or Aurora kits? I would really like to build just a engine as you did, to get my big scale feet wet
Mooneyzs Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Hey Steven... you can find some of these different engines from a few people that make them in Resin. Mark Johnson does some very nice work with 1/16th scale stuff, you have FlashPoint which has 1/16th scale engines. Competition Resins has some 1/16th scale stuff. I know I am drawing a blank on another resin person out there.
W-409 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 That engine looks incredible, very nice detailing and cleanly built engine. I've always liked of building engines the best, and maybe that's why I like this so much. Beautiful job overall, as always.
krazyglu Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Thanks Chris its not like me to ask before I google, but I figured you guys were the ones to ask. I will go give those places a look.
