Agent G
Here's the start of yet another Sherman tank. This is a US Marine M4A2 from the Pelelieu campaign. The crews added track links as extra armor as the battle progressed. Primer later today. G Edited February 20, 2012 by Agent G

Agent G
I'm calling this 99% finished. I have to take the masks off the headlights, and add some stowage, then she'll be complete. I really like the way this came out. The indy link tracks look great. I'll use these again for sure. G

crazyjim
Looks excellent, Wayne. How do the tracks in most tank come? One long piece? Never built a tank. Semper Fi!
David G.
Impressive detail, as always. Excellent work! David G.
Agent G
Thank you all for the support. The tracks were "tedious" to say the least. Those double pin tracks have to be laid out on masking tape and the end connectors attached one at a time. Then I barely dab cement on only one side, leaving the other to rotate. It takes a bit to keep track of the procedure otherwise you have a mess. Jim, some kits have one long piece of flexible track, some have two to four lengths of the same, some have solid pieces for the top and bottom with individual links for the rest, and some have all individual links, which is a task in and of itself. Danno
I was following along on your build, but when you started taping and gluing the links ... I lost track. Rimshot. Showgurlz!
