I finished this datsun 510 up last night . This kit was a pain to build. Probabaly one of the worst kits ive worked with not much of the kit fit well . windows where in rough shape as you can see. Considering what it was it came out well i guess minus the windsheild .Ii scratch built the throtle bodies and wired up th motor and battery. I also did a tail light swap the tail lights that where in the kit where molded to the rear and you had to paint them on witch i thought would look crappy . So i took some tails from a 68 camaro and cut off one lense and molded them in.

let me know what you think

sorry if the pics are crappy they were taken from my iphone . somethings wrong with my digital camera

Very cool.

That kit is pretty nice - although can have some issues. It is pretty amazing detail, though, when you consider all the other kits made in the early 1970s.

it looks pretty cool. i agree with you on the fitment, it's bad. especially the windows. your window went on better than mind did.

Very cool. I love those big intake trumpets on the engine. I think the whole engine bay is detailed just right, not too much not too little.

I don't know what issues you had with that kit, never have seen the kit myself... but I'd say, judging from the photos, that you did just fine! B)
