BKcustoms Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I built this back in December as a Christmas gift for my Dad. His first car was a 69 Nova and I did my best to replicate it. I started with a Revell 69 Nova SS and converted it into a non SS six cylinder car by using the motor out of an AMT 51 Chevy convertible updated to look like a 69 unit. the grill has the SS emblem removed and a chevy bow tie put in its place, and the fender vents have been removed. The models all seem to be COPO, Yenkos, or SS models, which I also like, but this is a different slant on a great model! Very good job!
