Burnout Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Finished this guy over the holidays but had to wait until recently to paint. Chassis is the roadster from Revell's Tony Nancy 22JR double kit and the engine base is from the Revell 41 Willys. Body is Competition Resins. Thanks for looking, KB
jmpsebring Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Very nice! Are the rear wells from the same kit? Are the outside bare aluminum rims painted?
6bblbird Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Wow! That Fiat is terrific! I I love all of the different metallic paint treatments that you used. This is one exceptional model! WF
Draggon Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Wow, great style and it one of the most cleanest builds Ive seen. Keep up the good work, I love it!
oldscool Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 That is very well done and I too like the different metallic shades that you have achieved on it. gus
Burnout Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 Thank you for the kind words. Jack P, the rear wheel rims are turned aluminum and the inserts are resin pieces from Replicas & Miniatures. The aluminum rims were purchased from Detail Master/Modeltyme Designs but unfortunately, they have been discontinued. I believe they are bare aluminum and not anodized. I wish I could find more! KB
Wayne Buck Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Awesome color, wheels look outstanding and VERY cleanly built. Everything looks GREAT! I love it!!
