justin2020 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 This was a quick build to kill time before my daughter was born. Took two weeks to complete. Tamiya paints and clear plus tinted windows and head light covers. Wheels are from the Dubs Mustang GT and the Grill is scratch built with half round stock then sprayed with Chrome. Hinged the bedcover and made gas springs for it. I also added a new exhaust tips coming out the rear role pan. I also slammed it as low as it could go with those wheels. I Really enjoyed building it!
Models by Bear Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I like it . those two colors go well together.
Ry4ns302 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 That thing just made me wanna build a dually!

Ryan S. Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Wow, nice job. The paint scheme really works. Nice choice on colors.
justin2020 Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 Thanks all. The colors are lime green metallic, champagne gold metallic, and light gun metal pinstrip. I would love to build another one in the future Thanks again for all of the comments!
ARTEMIS1759 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Awesome. So curiosity sake was the inside of the tailgate intentionally curved? (looks like a makeshift tailgate party chair ). Normally they are flat to slide stuff across. If it wasn't intentional, if anyone asks its a seat.
Haubenschild Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I am not really into custom trucks , but I can tell you , that looks seriously badarse , especially with those exhaust tips and colour scheme
Steven Zimmerman Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 dangit, where's the 'like' button on here....
BHarrison Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Great looking and very believable! Looks like you might actuall see it at a 1:1 truck show or in Truckin or Sport Trucks magazine. Nice work! Paint is top notch!
Kustom Rodder Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 That is sweet love the color combo and the wheels nice job!

I really did not notice until you said something. It is really curved now that I look at it.
Scale-Master Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 That is pretty cool. Is it still a Dually?
