hi all i finally got her done... i found i had a few probles with this kit (1) the green decals are wrong. (2) the dash had to trimed and filed to fit propery. (3) the steering linkages didnt line up at all. (4) the fron grill was a right royal pain in the butt to get to fit. (5) the side mirrors are a pain to put together to... but other then them few lil problems i had a right ball doing this kit and she didnt turn out to bad for my first kit with me opening it all up... i did do a few learner mistakes like, i put the door pannel on before i filled and sanded it and i did knacker up the clear coat but i think i sorted it enough. well here she is i will get some better pics in the sun when it decides to come out lol.

Very cool, love that all the doors are open. I have one sitting on the bench with the hood cut out. That color looks good and the wheel choice is excellent!

The one comment I have on this , yer brave as to opening the Driver and passenger doors . see, the 1-1 vans used a combination of both a "Barn door hinge " at the top and a "hidden hinge at the bottom . I'm curious as to how sturdy you're solo hinge will be in time .

On the pictures , had it been me , I would have shut the flash unit down and added some lights at either corner . The flash unit itself bounced back severely and as such hides a lot of you're workmanship.

Fine job otherwise , oh when is the next truck - In by the way ? Ed Shaver

Turned out very nice Chevrolet Van! Cool, those decals look like traditional '70's stuff, and paintjob is great. Nice detailing too. Maybe this kit would be great to have. :D

nice looking van. well done on opening up every door. i was hoping to see someone get away with replicating the sliding door for my in progress van.

wow i am extreemly impressed by you making the doors open on the right side because it leaves you with such a small post i would be terafied of breaking it and it looks like you pulled it off with no stress marks verry impressive
