Agent G Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 For some reason this has always been my favorite. It a simple build of the old '49 Ford kit where I scratchbuilt the roof lights. I cast the radio and siren box from old masters. The build was fun, the subject is near and dear to my heart, and it came out pretty good. G
traditional Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) After three years and many subsequent builds, this one always captures my eye when I go into my 'TOY ROOM'. '35 Ford roadster custom rod....made from a stock '36 Ford Edited March 12, 2012 by traditional
Austin T Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 Wow great stuff guys,I think the my Orange Hauler kit I just picked up might be a new one.
raisin27 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Really diverse and interesting group of models. Heres my favorite, I built this about 5 years ago and although my skills have improved since then this is still one of my favorites for a few reasons. First I was always a big fan of Dyno Don growing up near the Detroit Dragway.....Second I tried building this car as a kid and failed miserably.....And finally my first ever Best in Show award came with this build. Thanks for looking, Raisin
diymirage Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) im sure ive posted this one once or twice before but it my favorite there were a lot of "firsts" in this build, first lowrider, first time making a custom decal, first time flipflopping a hood, first time at a 3 tone paint job, and im sure im missing a few more firsts somehow it doesnt look anything like the picture :S Edited March 11, 2012 by diymirage
Sixx Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I've got two, Revell's 69 Nova, and also the 41 Willys
Darren B Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 My tuner/lowrider project that is both a tuner and lowrider at the same time....
Fabrux Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I would say that the car I'm most proud of to date is this 1967 Chevelle. The body has been with me since I started building models and I've modified it extensively many, many times.
Draggon Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Ive shown both of these before. The ratty roadster is a favorite because it was the most modified model I completed since returning to the hobby in 2007. The coupe is a pride and joy because I love the vintage style and it has NO mistakes, at least that one can see!
raymanz Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 This is the one model that's my p&j at this time...
XJ6 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 (edited) After three years and many subsequent builds, this one always captures my eye when I go into my 'TOY ROOM'. '35 Ford roadster custom rod....made from a stock '36 Ford That is Very Nice.... Edited March 12, 2012 by XJ6
RodneyBad Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I have a few pride and joys and these 2 are my Most Favorites.
jcbigpaw Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 This is an AMT 58 Impala which I received as a semi-squashed incomplete kit. The end result was exactly as I imagined.
Floridian Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 This is the one model that's my p&j at this time... I absolutly love this truck.... I saw it on Gearz and was wondering why it didnt win the competition.
