krazyglu Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Sorry Billiam here are some updates and although they are late I think you will approve. I have all but one line in place. I am still painting things ,but here is how it sits. I also managed to get the distributor bored out and wired on my second attempt
krazyglu Posted April 6, 2012 Author Posted April 6, 2012 Sorry about the delay everyone, but sometimes life gets busy. I have been hard at it the last week or so as the contest is next Saturday. This model has fought me every step of the way. First off I planned things out very poorly and as a result I had to handle painted pieces way to much. Also the more you fool with things the better breaking something becomes. To top that off its kind of small even for a 1/25 scale so that much harder to squeeze them details in. So far the box stock portion seems to be decent. I ended up pinning nearly all the engine components in the end. Next time around I will have all my holes for my pins drilled and test fitted. Winging these things has only caused me much more headache in the end. I am still working on a way to mount the top wing. I really want it to be removable, but I might not be able to pull it off. Most likely it will simply be glued into to place. The firewall and engine were not very fun to get in. Thanks again for the comments everyone and thanks for the inspiring work Tommy. Here is how it currently sits.
DirtModeler Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 She's a beauty! can't wait to see how it turns out.. it looks rockin' so far.

krazyglu Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 Thanks for the kind words everyone and Bill i wouldn't be near as happy with this build if that seat was missing. I got some pieces fitted last night and things are starting to come together. I couldn't wait any longer so I mounted up the wheels and glued all the tins in place.....
TooOld Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Steve , I am sorry I skipped over this one and didn't stop to look ! Your seat looks great ! And the anodized effect is really sharp . I'm taking notes on that one . This is going to be a show peice when you're done ! I almost bought this kit a few months ago , now I wish I had .

krazyglu Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 Fellas thanks again for all the encouraging comments....it really motivates me and It is a big part of the hobby in my eyes. I have been a little preoccupied with work and other hobbies, but tonight I decided to attract the final pieces..the all mighty wings. I plan on adding the little supports on the top side of the main wing. I still have some touch ups and a small amount of weathering before its complete. Thanks again for all the knowledge and awesome ideas I have learned on this site.
