jeffs396 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 WOW! I sure hope these make it to production! Not likely though http://jalopnik.com/5896703/jeep-mighty-fc-concept-this-is-awesome
Casey Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Looks like somebody bought up the leftover parts from Hummer. That FC is pretty awesome, though, even if it's frontal crash test rating would be abysmal. The nose of the J-12 seems a bit small in proportion to the rest of the truck, though. Here's what's left of a vintage FC Jeep:
hotrod59f100 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I like those ugly trucks. You never see those fc's on the road .
Joe Handley Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 As cool as that FC is, it would never make it past NHTSA or IIHS I do really like the J-Truck concept though, that actually looks like it's something that could be crashable too!
jeffs396 Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 As much as I love the concept FC, I think these photochops are even COOLER!
Casey Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 You'd need a built in step plate on the front hubs to even have a chance of climbing in through the front doors. The Crew Cab is really cool.
Casey Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 More Jeep Forward Control concept goodness, though it appears to be the same one Jeff posted: http://automotivemags.blogspot.com/2012/11/warn-winches-brought-forward-control.html Beefy!:
Chuck Most Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Love the FC, but I just can't bring myself to like the J-truck. The front end just looks out of proportion with the rest of the truck.
jeffs396 Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 I saw these concept Jeeps and a few more at last summer's 2nd annual Bantam Jeep festival in Butler, PA. They both look better in person, but I agree Chuck, the proportions of the JK derived J-truck are off. A friend got a ride in the FC concept...he said it needed some floorboard windows!
