CorvairJim Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I just built this kit for someone else too! I transformed it from a '78 Trans Am to a '77 Esprit.
Trans Am Erik Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Lookin good! I'll be looking forward to seeing the progress on this one. OK, I may be a LITTLE partial........ the Bandit has been my dream car since I was 3 years old. The Monogram '78 T/A is my favorite kit (i have a ton of them). Also, with the help of my family and friends I built a 1:1 Bandit replica out of an '81 T/A.
Lownslow Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 It is for your Uncle.. Soo this one will be i got plans to build another one more befitting to my style

turn1wonder Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Keep it going. I really like this version of the TA and the hood decal does look great...but it needs a skull Bob
GTMust Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I owned a '78 Gold Bird back in '81 thru '85. One of my favourite memories. Lost it in a divorce settlement..... and my ex sold it for $1,600 and a Commodore 64 computer! I think she did it out of spite, 'cos she knew I wanted it! Nice paint... it's gonna be a good one. Tony
