Erik-

That build is sweet. Great color. I love the engine details. Where did you get such tiny hoses and how did you make the 90 degree bends in them where they enter the valve cover?

Later-

Hey Tom - all the hoses and wires are just different sizes of detail master wire. All the AC work is included in the kit, and while a pain in the neck to install (not to mention sanding the mold lines), end up looking pretty good.

Interesting paint choice that really goes well with the rest of this well done model. The detailing on the engine is excellent, any chance you could show us more of it? Tiny hoses, clamps and brackets look absolutely real.

Bob, here is one more shot of the engine bay. Radiator hose is heat shrink tubing over wire and clamps are painted tape with a small piece of wire for the screw. The brackets are made from soft aluminum decorator foil, cut to size, painted, and glued in place. Small nuts and bolts are PE from MCG.

Thanks for the comments!

Thanks Erik for the new pic and info, and again, awesome stuff.

Other than the PE parts most people have what is used...and now we have less excuses for doing detail work like this

That is one gorgeous model. Nice detail work on the engine bay. The vent work under the windshield is exceptional. What did you do to get such a clean result on the vent?
