That is a pretty good deal. And Corvair's are cool cars (be damned Ralf Nader). I can think of a couple of cool custom builds that could be done with that car. I always wanted to see a Corvair Nomad wagon.

A few weeks ago I scored 4 complete kits on Ebay for $42 including shipping.. I thought that was a good deal. I got a 40 Ford Sedan Delivery, a 41 Ford Woody, 34 Ford Street Rod and a 37 Chevy Cabriolet.

It is always a good feeling when you strike that great deal.

That's great, I just checked that site out tho. Shipping is killer. They wanted 16 bucks for shipping on one kit.

Were do you get your shipping done?,,, I just sent off 5 old magazines,,and the cheapest was $14.00.. Not trying to be smart..but i am interested in saving money too,,,

Thank You

$13.00 shipping is too high even for 2 kits.

But when coming from Japan or China, its a good deal  , but agree, in the states, thats just the seller trying to make more off the sale

Goodwill has to pay someone to box up and ship those kits, along with getting a box and some packing materials so while $13 seems high, it probably is close to their actual costs.

I agree that some shipping charges seem out of line, but maybe if the kits were $13.00 and the shipping was $7.00, it would seem more in line?

If you can ship 2 kits in one package to me ( in Florida ) for less than $13.00 , PLEASE tell me how ! !

I regularly use USPS Parcel Post and it costs more than $8.00 to ship 1 kit to Georgia , $11.00 to New York . UPS is even more expensive .

USPS Priotity Mail can be a better deal , but only if it is going to the west coast . And then it has to fit in there box !
