Guest JamesDE Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 This was my first build I started after being out of commission for about 7 months.... I found a video of a Vette done up pro touring style.... Beautiful car, so I wanted to build one similar to it.... A friend of mine found the wheels that were almost a perfect match... So far I filled in the bumper mounts in the rear and smoothing out the dash. Paint is Testors inca gold one coat lacquer and followed by a couple coats of duplicolor metal cast orange.... Here are some pics so far... It's been sitting in a box for about a month or so, time to bring it back out again...
cobraman Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Split window Vettes were the best Vettes ever. IMO. Love the color also.
Grumpa Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 James, Love the wheels - Love the color! This Vette's going to have some serious attitiude. Looking forward to the rest of the build! If you get a chance, grab a couple of photos in natural light.
