A hair brained idea for a post apocalyptic build

It's not a car, but a piece for a diorama maybe? I was walking through home depot one day and spotted these. I thought sweet, it would look great for a fallout shelter. Any way here it is

I think you have it spot on! But what on earth is its intended purpose?

Its an electrical junction box of some sort.

This 'platform' at the far end could be made into a cannon base of some sort.

A little work with a Dremel, some plaster or putty and a little paint, you could also get an interesting forced-perspective contemporary building.

It's an electrical box. This one holds 4 switches. So being the largest you also have the options of smaller bunkers as well.

Cool ! The 4 notches look like a perfect place for anti-aircraft guns.

Second best part about them, is that they are cheap. You could have an entire garrison.

A cab and some monster truck tires and you have a rolling weapons base.
